I got my snake about a week ago now, was an adoption. She's still only about 2 feet long...and when we got her, they said she had had scale rot and mouth rot, but had been treated by a vet, and then later given a clean bill of health. My snake ( a baby columbian) just shed (day or 2 ago). I noticed on the very center of the top of her head, she seems to be missing 2-3 of those small, pebble-shaped scales. In their place appears pink "skin". Looks like when you just peel a scab after the skin underneath has healed to the point that it won't bleed. Just pink/fresh. Is this normal/bad/good/sign of a problem/what?
