"No babies. Not a one." Here is is June 6th and I have had one baby. I see all the great animals made by so many other breeders but I haven't seen a fresh still in the goo baby here since August 11, 2008. Nearly ten months ago! Plus that litter was a secret breeding so I couldn't show them off. That takes all the fun out of it you know. The last litter I could talk about was June 16, 2008. Now that was almost a full year ago. I am starting to feel a little bit anxious. I try not to look forward too much, as it makes time fly by to fast.



The "No babies. Not a one..." is a quote from my youngest daughter. One time I took her down to the big snake room to see if we had had any babies yet. We had not and when asked by her Mom if we had any babies she said those words; "No babies. Not a one...". She was three at the time and we have no idea where that "Not a one..." expression came from. She put us in stitches.



Still, I guess it won't be too long. First litter is due June 23rd. I can wait. Really I can... I think.
