I'm having a hard time finding a herp vet anywhere close to me, so far the closest are about 100 miles away. I was wondering how often you guys need to take your little ones to a vet? I know that they need a check-up when you first bring them home but other than that I'm clueless. There are several reptile shows this year in St Louis (MO) and I plan on finding a gecko through there or a rescue. I still have quite a while to find one thats hopefully closer, but if I couldnt and if an emergeny were to happen I probably wouldnt make it in time. Am I overthinking this, or is it a common concern?
