Last night my SHTCT layed for the first time...she only layed one egg. I understand that you should keep the orientation of the egg when you transfer it to the incubation material because of the risk of drowning the embryo. Well this egg was sort of leaning to one side but was almost straight up and down...should I put it in the incubation medium in the exact same way it was in the lay box or will it be fine if I lay it on its side with the side that was facing up in the lay box also facing up in the incubation medium? WOW the way I worded this question is a little confusing, I hope yall can understand it! Any help wouldl be greatly appreciated.
