I haven't been on the forums in a long time, but my Leo is in need of some help. She hasn't been herself in quite a while and I've run out of ideas to help get her back to her old self.

She's had umtine bad sheds but she won't use her moss/humid hide when she's getting ready to shed. It's always her feet that still have some skin left on them but this last time her head was still covered in old skin. I managed to get it off her, but she's not letting me help her feet. I had a lizard in the past who had problems with his feet and I soaked them in some warm water to help him, but Leo (that's her name) won't let me pick her up at all to try this. I even have to clean her tank around her b/c she becomes so aggravated when I try to move her. It's gotten to the point where I just don't want to bother her b/c I'm afraid she will drop her tail. When I try and pick her up she whips her tail around and puts on a -very- aggressive stance. She eats okay but not as well as I'd like her too. I have been feeding her Pheonix worms. She'll eat 5 at a time a couple times a week if that. I just got her some Super worms to give to her and see how she takes that. I know she loves them, but I honestly get creeped out by them. Since it's been winter I haven't been trying to push her eating too much. She is extremely lethargic as well. She just lays under her rock all the time. Very rarely do I see her out. She used to be a very active gecko.

This has been going on for quite a while now. The two main issues are 1: How do I re-accustome her to being handled? and 2: Should I be worried about her lethargy/lack of appetite? She wasn't eating well even before the winter.

Leo is going on 5 years old, so she's not 'old' for a lizard as far as I know.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
