so since im moving my ball python to a bin im giving the 40gal to my largest leo, ethen.
im going for a rodent themed tank and have gotten some hides from the rodent section and for substrate im using some fleece just like with my rat cage. ive tried a bit of fleece in her 20gal tank with her and so far no issues. plus she prefers sleeping out in the open on soft things than being in her hides on the tiles any day, spoiled little thing. so far i only have 3 hides like this, the normal humid, warm and cool hides. think i would use more hides since its such a big tank? or would it not be a problem, the only time ive ever seen her really stressed or hide from me whas when i first got her so im wondering if just the 3 hides would be ok.
of course once its all set up ill post pictures, but in the meantime i have to set up the bin for the snake first. i still need to put holes in it and get another UTH for it, then clean out a spot in my room for a bin of that size. im thinking i may just put her under my desk by my bed.
