The other day I found this awesome stick buried partially in the mud by the shore of a lake at some wildlife park thing we have down here.
So I scrubbed it off real thoroughly to get them mud off, then soaked it in a 1 part bleach 9 part water solution, then baked it at 300 degrees for around 30 - 40 minutes until it looked mostly dry. But it has this horrible wet dog smell, so I don't know whether to put it in the tank or not. It's been sitting outside airing out, and I put it back in the oven for 20 more minutes, but it still reeks.
Am I not doing something correctly here?
