So I've had my gecko for a little under a year and a half. In the past 2 or 3 months he hasn't eaten very much. I never weighed him before but hid tail might be smaller. He still eats but only one or two worms every 2 weeks. He poops every 2 or 3 days, and still drinks water. He has healthy behavior but doesn't like being held much, but hopefully will get use to it the more I hold him. I weighed him today with a not so accurate scale, but he weighed up to about 80 grams. Besides the fact that he only gets two good feedings out a 5 dollars of worms, I'm not bothered he doesn't eat much, it has been winter. I'm just wondering if this is a normal weight. He has flab's of fat under his front arms. I started off feeding crickets when he was a baby, when he got older I fed him meal worms, then he started eating wax worms, now I've been feeding him super worms, as often as possible and giving him chances to eat. He sees the worm, and strikes a few times, and most of the time doesn't catch it, then he just gives up, and goes back to his hide. He has a 20 gallon tank, and uses repti-sand as a substrate. He has a hide on the warmest side of the tank, then in the middle of the tank a hide with multiple levels inside and out. , then he has a small hide by the water dish which sometimes he will stand on and only go in occasionally. Thanks for any help.
